Mike Thurston – Campaign for District Attorney of Waukesha County

Role: UX RESEARCH, UI DESIGN

Project Overview: The client, Mike Thurston, served as a Deputy District Attorney of Waukesha County. He ran for District Attorney of Waukesha County. The goal of this project was to create an identity for Mike Thurston’s campaign along with website design, social media, email marketing and video research.

UX Research: I performed a competitive analysis of several district attorney campaigns throughout the country focusing on districts with similar demographics to Waukesha County. I researched census information including demographics, population estimates, education and more. I interviewed clients and colleagues to highlight Mike Thurston’s leadership style, character and prosecutorial methods.

UI Design: I created color palette containing a patriotic theme for Mike Thurston’s branding campaign. I designed and built his website through WordPress. I also worked with his campaign team on his social media accounts through Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and E-mail marketing campaigns.
